All Good Things Must Come To an End

From The desk of Karen Kropf

The time has come to wind down our non-profit.  We have enjoyed the favor and adventure of serving your communities, more than you can possibly know.

We will never cease talking about sexual self-control to teens and parents, but the time is ripe for us to do it with minimal government entanglements — in case you didn’t know, non-profits are regulated by federal and state law, and we are in TWO states!

What this DOESN’T mean is the end of the Kropfs as public speakers.  Our hearts are still bent toward accepting every invitation we can.  However, it DOES mean is that any financial support given to us after we dissolve will no longer be tax-deductible.

We are required by tax law to transfer all the Positively Waiting assets to another 501c3 with the same mission.  We have chosen Enlighten Communication.  Pam Stenzel, the woman who inspired me to step into abstinence education founded t

his organization.  They have an impressive slate of speakers and excellent video materials, so you can be confident the financial support you gave to us will serve the same mission Positively Waiting has had.

For everyone of you who ever sent us a nickel, prayed a prayer, sent a note of encouragement — we are so grateful!  We could not have continued serving so many communities with limited resources for two decades as we did, without your sacrifices.
